The West End Beach House on Flinders Island off Tasmania in the 'Roaring Forties' was prefabricated in Sydney and shipped to the island 'flat packed'.

It uses five Ecoshelta e.pods linked on site by a curved walkway element to create an open and light filled maritime house.

Extensive folding glazed doors to all directions allow the house to be opened up to the gardens courtyards decks and terraces surrounding the house.

The place is peaceful, isolated and wild and the house takes its cur=es from the drama of the place.
